People drive too fast. It's not about how fast is reasonable on any particular, for a start no individual has the knowledge of years of in-depth study on road accident statistics, only their own experience (I haven't killed anyone yet so the speed limits must be inappropiate) but the fact that if someone else's interpretation of the same system of law differs from their own, e.g. burglars justifying theft on the basis of compensation via insurance claim, then the law isn't tough enough. It's only when people become directly affected by routine flouting of our laws that they have anything to say about it. Otherwise, carry on as normal oblivious to their effect on other people's lives.

. . . on location!
